Two more arrests have been made in connection with a stabbing in Wisbech. 

Cambridgeshire Police said two men were arrested today [March 8] on suspicion of the murder of Eliza Bibby. 

A police spokesperson said: “A 47-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from Wisbech, were arrested this morning on suspicion of murder. 

“They remain in custody at March police station.” 

Officers were called at 6.33am on January 10 with reports that Ms Bibby’s body had been found at her home in Beechwood Road. 

Last week, police arrested a man in his twenties on suspicion of murder. 

He has since been released on bail with restrictions and told to appear at Thorpe Wood police station on June 2.

Another suspect, Mark Coleman, had also been arrested on suspicion of Ms Bibby's murder but was found dead at HMP Peterborough on January 25. 

Coleman had been arrested and bailed on suspicion of the 47-year-old's murder but remanded in custody in connection with unrelated allegations. 

A 42-year-old woman from Wisbech has also been arrested and bailed on suspicion of murder, but remanded in custody in connection with unrelated allegations.  

At the inquest opening into Ms Bibby's death, coroner Simon Milburn explained her cause of death was determined as “stab wounds of the neck”.
