Four people have been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at New Inn Yard in Nene Quay on April 29.

An outbuilding in the yard was on fire and three emergency services were called to the scene.

Officers from the Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing Team and Fenland Response Team attended, along with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service.

Nene Quay was left closed while the incident was ongoing.

Four people were taken to hospital to be checked over once the fire was put out. 

No injuries were reported at the scene.

 A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 12.44pm on Monday (29) two crews from Wisbech were called to a house fire on Nene Quay in Wisbech.

"The crews arrived to find a shed fire affecting two domestic properties and a commercial property.

"Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their station by 2.45pm.

"The cause of the fire was accidental."
