MY particular bind is the amount of rubbish that is around in March and I think it well deserves its name of 'Mucky March'.

When you go to Ely, St Ives, St Neots and back to our previous home town of Berkhamsted, you do not see the amount of filth that litters our streets in March.

Where are the 24 hour response teams when you want them ?

Is it possible to get something done about it before the busy holiday season starts at Easter? Then we shall have boats coming up and down the river and hopefully stopping to shop.

We have some good restaurants and a few nice pubs and park and the swimming pool, and possibly a new bandstand by the summer.

With the rates that we pay we should expect the council to keep March clean and free from rats and other pests that rubbish encourages.
