IT is a shame no-one contacted me about this article before its publication as it is inaccurate.

I am not the Chairman of Marshland St James Parish Council.

I was not the Borough Councillor for more than eighteen years.

In general, I still do not see that having a wind farm on Marshland Fen would be a threat to me.

However, I do specifically object to two aspects of the very recent planning application.

I do not want to be in the flicker zone of a turbine and I do not want the turbines so close to the Middle Level Main Drain that they would affect the movement of swans between the water and adjacent fields.

I remain a supporter of wind turbines and I only object to these particular aspects of this specific application.

Your failure to allow me to correct your inaccuracies before publication was misleading to your readers and discourteous to me.

I trust you will correct your errors and apologise.
