LIKE many hard working citizens, I am increasingly fed up with Government Ministers and senior members of the judiciary who clearly live on a parallel planet whilst the ordinary citizen tries to deal with order less streets , as seen by the appalling catalogue of knifings recently.

The Lord Chief Justice has again indicated from his secure and well protected position that he has not only lost the plot but crucially lost touch with the experience of the citizen on the street.

Knifing the innocent is as bad as a shooting and we must see custodial sentences properly implemented and be of a deterrent length.
