I was astonished, nigh on speechless, when I read your letter regarding bus times. The fact that you can get a bus after 11pm?!! And you re complaining about this?!

I was astonished, nigh on speechless, when I read your letter regarding bus times.

The fact that you can get a bus 'after' 11pm?!! And you're complaining about this?!

When you live, as many do, in the heart of Fenland, it seems, regardless of ones age, you're not allowed as much as a brief linger in any town or city where there might be any standard of evening entertainment, if you wish to return by public transport.

Basically, if you want to go somewhere, and come back on the bus much after 5pm, you'd better make damn sure you scout a park bench and pack a sleeping bag.
