I HAVE heard on television that now our precious bees are dying. Bee keepers in England have found hives deserted and only the Queen bee left there dying. In America they have a specialist team trying to find a cure.

This is very important as bees pollinate all our crops, fruits even cotton that makes our clothes.

In four years this could affect our food crops and fruits. Report any bees you see looking sick or dead ones to your local bee experts.

We can help healthy bees by putting out shallow saucers of sugar water where we see bees collecting pollen.
