West End comedy favourite ‘One Man Two Guvnors’ is coming to the Angles Theatre, Wisbech this month.
RATz, the theatre’s award-winning company, will bring the sidesplitting show to life next week.
Full of British humour, it was a runaway hit on Broadway in 2012 and starred a Tony Award-winning lead actor.
Set in the 1960s, a young man is job hunting. He becomes a minder to a small time East End crook living in Brighton. The crook is really the sister posing as her deceased brother. Our young man then lands a second job. This time with another East End crook who is hiding from the police in Brighton and waiting to be reunited with the love of his life - the sister posing as her deceased brother. Neither crook knows that the other lives in Brighton.
Our young man’s job is to keep these two crooks apart…
One Man Two Guvnors is at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16.
