They’ll be dancing in the square on Sunday July 2 when DixieMix - East Anglia’s hottest jazz band - bring traditional toe-tapping jazz with a twist to a free concert in King’s Lynn.

Held as part of King’s Lynn’s Festival Too, the event starts at 1pm with local Springwood School Big Band.

Next on stage will be East Anglian band Redemption, playing their own take on hits by B.B. King, James Brown, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Doobie Brothers & Stevie Wonder. Then, at 3pm, DixieMix will take to the stage.

Festival Too chairman Alan Taylor said: “The event will again showcase the musical talent available in East Anglia.”

Festival Too is jointly sponsored by Your Local Paper and Bank House Hotel in King’s Staithe Square.
