PUBLISHED: 07:18 09 June 2017
For the third year running the historic waterfront of King’s Lynn and the river Great Ouse will host the Hanseatic Water Ski Race next weekend.
This year’s event will see the return of Formula 1, 2 and 3 water-ski racing to the South Quay with racing on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June.
Six races will be staged each day including an under eights race which debuted in 2016 and saw competitors travelling from far and wide to take part.
The Hanseatic Race, now in its third year, matches the famous Diamond Race which takes place in the Hanseatic town of Antwerp in Belgium.
There will also be fun family activities happening on the quayside across both days including food stalls, sweet stalls and ice cream, an outside BBQ and bar, face-painting, and more. Costumed characters will also be on hand.
The races will start at 10am each day through to 3pm. For the full schedule go to www.kingslynnskirace.co.uk
