The Lady in the Van

Dame Maggie Smith is back on our screens, telling the true story of an eccentric vagabond called Mary Shepherd, a transient woman who lives out of her Bedford van.

When writer Alan Bennett offers to let her park on his driveway for three weeks, she reluctantly accepts.

She then stays there for 15 years, during which time they strike up an unlikely friendship.

Keeping in the vein of true stories, Steve Jobs is also released on Friday. Go behind the scenes of the digital revolution and discover the man behind Apple. His passion and ingenuity were the driving force behind the digital age, but his drive to revolutionise technology was sacrificial.

Ultimately it affected his family life and possibly his health.
