The Royal Air Force’s College Swing Wing Band return to Wisbech on Saturday March 25 to perform in the theatre of Thomas Clarkson Academy in aid of local charities.

The 20-piece big band, that plays in the style of the 40s, 50s and 60s, will perform numbers covering all swing band years.

“There will be some new faces in the band this time,” say event organisers Jan and Ray Hutchinson.

“The most prominent are their leader, Corporal Tom Rose, and vocalist, SAC Philippa Hobbs, both fine musicians.”

Tickets cost £10 each and proceeds from the concert will be donated to local RAF charities.

For further information, or to reserve tickets contact Jan or Ray Hutchinson on 01945 584595. Tickets will also be on sale at The Cat’s Pyjamas, Union Street Wisbech.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start.
