Unbelievable in every sense of the word, Mission Impossible: Fallout is the series highlight and, ultimately, it deserves to be hailed as one of the best action movies ever made.

With Tom Cruise (somehow now 56-years-old) returning as Ethan Hunt, still doing his own stunts of course, it’s an unrelenting rollercoaster of brilliantly shot set pieces and breathtaking real-life superhero world-saving.
Fallout finds Ethan and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time to save the world from nuclear disaster after a mission gone wrong, with Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby joining the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm as director.
Though Fallout clocks in at just under two and a half hours, and packs in countless genuinely unexpected twists and turns, it never feels overly stretched; rather the time seems to fly by... a constant adrenaline rush.
