THE Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech is getting ready to host its annual summer activity fun day.

The centre has a whole host of free fun planned throughout next Wednesday (August 31) between 10am and 2pm for children and their families to enjoy.

The popular Spider Mountain will return for the day and youngsters can scramble through its web-like platforms to reach its summit and have a go on the centre’s free fairground ride.

A face painter will be on hand to paint fun and wacky designs on children’s faces, plus a balloon modeller will create all sorts of different creatures.

Mr Rainbow will perform his Magical Summer Show at 11am and 1pm, entertaining children and their families with a mixture of humour and magic tricks.

Plus, youngsters will have an opportunity to have their photo taken with the Kodak store’s very own Donald Duck and for 99p - and they will be given a 7x5 photo to take away.

In addition, police will carry out a public engagement day, giving visitors and shoppers an opportunity to speak them. They will also provide a free post-coding service for mobile phones and bikes.

Members of the RSPB will also have a stall at the centre where shoppers can find out more information about their work.
