The Great British Seaside Special, which promises an ‘extravaganza of music, comedy entertainment and fun’, comes to Wisbech on Sunday June 5 as part of the WisBEACH Festival.
The event will offer people the chance to see an authentic end of the pier family seaside variety show live at Tower Ballroom.
Starring Andy Leach, who has appeared on The Royal Variety Show, expect lots of magic, comedy, madness and mayhem, say organisers.
Ventriloquist Richard Whymark, internationally-renowned banjo player Sean Moyses and comedian Ian Larkin will also feature at the special.
Michele Larkin, of 9 Lives Theatre Company, as well as the Seaside Special Dancers, will perform all your show favourites.
“The show features favourite extracts of what you all remember from the time when British variety ruled the world,” say organisers.
“So grab your flip-flops, bucket and spade and Kiss Me Quick hat and head down to the Tower
Ballroom for what promises to be a great afternoon of entertainment and fun for the whole family.”
Tickets; £10, available from Etcetera, 7 York Row, Wisbech or by calling 01945 463440 or 0771
8888641.
The show starts at 2.30pm.
