The Angles Theatre’s Ratzcool will present their chosen play, ‘The Musicians’, by Patrick Marber, on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 March at the Angles Theatre.
The play is the theatre group’s entry to the annual nationwide Youth Festival, which features 500 groups from across the UK and this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Emlyn Moment, of the Angles Theatre, said: “Ratzcool has been working hard rehearsing this innovative play which brings together Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.4 and The Who’s Pinball Wizard.
“A school orchestra travels to Moscow to perform but an hour before they perform they discover that all their instruments have been confiscated by Russian customs. What are they going to do?”
