If you love the Norfolk dialect, head to Upwell Methodist Church on Saturday May 28 for a mardling and music evening full of laughter provided by Keith Skipper and Ian Prettyman.
Cromer-based Keith, of Radio Norfolk fame, recently completed a half-century as Norfolk scribe and mardler. He will share some of his favourite yarns in his beloved Norfolk dialect.
Meanwhile, Ian, a Methodist preacher based in Lowestoft, provides musical items, including a rousing medley on his trusty melodeon and traditional East Anglian fishing and farming songs.
Tickets; £8 general or £9 on the door which include a buffet supper, can be purchased by calling Jane or Mary on 01945 588282.
Starts 7.30pm.
