A GROUP of Wisbech swimmers have successfully completed helpers courses run by the Amateur Swimming Association.

Sarah Knight, Annabel van Daalen, Rory Willis, Ryan Rout-Lester and Thomas Kelly completed the qualification after taking part in a two day course over the October half term.

Thomas and Ryan have also completed their Junior Timekeepers course, allowing them to represent Wisbech Swimming Club at galas as Junior Officials.

The second week of the Wisbech Swimming Club Championships began in style last week, with Millie Knight winning her category in under 10 seconds.

A host of personal bests were smashed in the competition, which concluded with the 800m Freestyle races on Sunday.
