YOUNG footballers from Emneth were delighted to meet some of their heroes during a visit to Peterborough United last week.

Hungate Rovers Greens Under-9s and their guests were given a full tour of the London Road stadium, meeting some of the players as well as manager Darren Ferguson.

Jason Bishop, the team’s assistant coach, said: “All the children had a fantastic experience and would like to thank Peterborough United and wish them all the best for their promotion campaign.”
