Wisbech Town Ladies will hope to have started as they mean to go on after hitting double figures on the opening day of their Cambs Womens Football League season.
he town side hammered a sorry Orton Rangers 14-0 in their first S-Tech North Division fixture last Sunday.
Euan Simpson’s talents sent a strong message to the rest of the division with their 14-goal triumph and they will hope to continue their hot streak in front of goal this Sunday when they entertain Pinchbeck United Ladies (2pm).
Wisbech warmed up for their opening league fixture by clinching top spot at Park Ladies tournament on September 3.
They eased past the hosts 3-0 before sealing 4-1 and 2-1 wins over Wisbech St Mary Ladies and Netherton United Ladies respectively.
The ladies also impressed in their pre-season friendly clash with Norwich City in July, hitting three goals in a 6-3 defeat.
