WISBECH Rugby Club's under-7s made it all the way to the final at the Spalding Festival where they lost narrowly to Stamford.
With the smallest squad in the competition, Wisbech played arguably the most attractive rugby of the day including two stunning length of the pitch tries from Ben Wilcox and Fabian Simpson.
Top scorer for Wisbech was Jack Fowler who crossed an amazing 15 times! Sam and George Howat shared 11 tries with great contributions from Anton McNab and Oliver Mann.
Wisbech under-9s also played in the tournament and narrowly missed out on a semi-final place with a win, draw and defeat in the group stage.
Tries came from Cameron Finlay (2), Luke Green and Thomas Nunn.
Wisbech under-9s player of the week was James Shelly.
