Wisbech Town score five on the road again to maintain 100 per cent record
Ridgeons Premier Division: FC Clacton 1 Wisbech Town 5
RAMPANT Wisbech Town scored five goals for the second consecutive away game as they maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.
Steve Appleby’s side have begun the campaign in sensational form confirming why many believe they’re amongst the favourites to win the title this season.
The Fenmen’s first-choice front pair of Chris Bacon and Liam Nimmo both scored again - the third consecutive game they’ve done so.
Bacon bagged a brace along with Callum Reed to seal another impressive victory for Appleby’s title-chasing Fenmen.
Wisbech return to action against last season’s runners-up Dereham Town at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium on Tuesday night.
Then they make the short trip to March Town United for next Saturday’s mouth-watering FA Cup Fen derby.
