WISBECH Town’s first league cup final in 16 years will be played at Dereham Town on Bank Holiday Monday May 2.
The Fenmen beat Stowmarket Town 6-2 on Tuesday night to reach the Ridgeons League Challenge Cup Final. Wroxham, who beat CRC 2-0 in the other semi-final, are now the only team standing between the Fenmen and their first silverware for 16 years.
It’s the fourth time the sides will meet this season. The Yachtsmen have already beaten Steve Appleby’s side twice but the sides played out a 1-1 draw at the Tom Wood’s Beer Fenland Stadium in September.
The match will kick-off at 3pm.
