Wisbech Town have their eye on fourth place in the United Counties Division One after roaring to a fourth straight win on Saturday.
Since Dick Creasey temporarily took over at the Elgoods Fenland Stadium at the end of March, the Fenmen have bagged four wins from six, including their most recent 5-3 success over strugglers Oadby Town at the weekend - which included a second half haul of four goals.
Strikes from Stuart Cobb, Michael Frew, Adam Millson, Billy Smith and Matty Sparrow secured a fine win in Wisbech’s final home game of the season, and a win against fierce rivals Holbeach United tomorrow night (7.45pm) will see them end their campaign in fourth.
The Fenmen have surged from mid-table to into the top eight in recent weeks, and a top-four finish would be a saving grace in what has been an inconsistent campaign for Wisbech.
