TWENTY one Wisbech taekwondo students moved up to the next grade at their recent grading session. In the senior belts brothers Ieuan and Aeron Davies passed with flying colours from second to first kup, Richard Ward and Maddison Carter moved up to second

TWENTY one Wisbech taekwondo students moved up to the next grade at their recent grading session.

In the senior belts brothers Ieuan and Aeron Davies passed with flying colours from second to first kup, Richard Ward and Maddison Carter moved up to second kup and Aimee King achieved her third Kup.

Anthony Carter, instructor at the Carter Schools of Taekwondo, said: "This is a fantastic achievement. To achieve their black belts at the Carter school usually takes five to six years of dedication and hard work. These students have worked very hard indeed."

In the middle grades Luke and Kelan Shorten went up from fifth to fourth kup and Nathan Brunton passed from sixth to fifth.

Rowan Jordan, Kasha-Marie Kirkham and Daniel Kirk went up from seventh to sixth kup and Connor Meyrick and Jason Scheunemann eighth to seventh.

Ian Travers, Lynsey Marks, Leon Hannigan and Gemma Hoare went from ninth to eighth and

Sian Playford, Simon Hummer, Daniel Scheunemann and Connor Smith went from 10th to ninth.
