Wisbech Swimming Club stars smash regional qualifying times in Anglian League triumph

NINE young stars from Wisbech Swimming Club have achieved regional qualifying times this season - three times as many as last year.
Hannah Brown, Tom Kelly, Ben Marsters, Abigail Foley, Phoebe Gallagher, Jack Lane, Grace Cherry, Danielle Rayner and Oliver Newton clocked 36 qualifying times between them.
The swimmers aged 15 and over will compete in the Youth Championships next month, while the juniors will travel to Norwich in June.
Wisbech claimed a memorable victory in the second round of the Anglian League on Saturday - pipping St Ives by just two points.
The club’s swimmers recorded 15 first places, 15 second places and 16 personal best times.
