WISBECH Swimming Club’s finest members were rewarded for their hard work and dedication at the club’s annual presentation on Sunday.

Former coach Mel Bigadike handed out the awards at Mendis before the older age groups finished the evening off with a disco. Daniel Dale and Alice Dennis picked up trophies for gaining the most points during the 2010 Cambridgeshire County Championships while James Dobler received the award for collecting the most points during the 2010 Junior Fenland League.

Hannah Brown was crowned Most Promising Under-13 Swimmer, Annabel van Daalen collected the same prize for the over-13 age group and Thomas Kelly received the award for being the Most Dedicated Swimmer.

John Frusher bagged the Adult Volunteer Award in recognition of his dedication to the club. Ryan Rout-Lester received the Junior Volunteer Award.
