SWIMMERS from Wisbech recorded phenomenal results at the Cambridgeshire County Championships.
Liam Knight, who represents City of Peterborough Swimming Club, won 13 gold medals.
His club-mates Ellen Williams won four golds, five silvers and two bronzes and Lee Clarke two golds, two silvers and one bronze medal.
Wisbech Swimming Club's Matthew Jakeman won seven golds two silvers and a bronze to be named best swimmer in the 16 years category.
He recorded six qualifying times for the East Region Youth Championships, to be held in May.
Rosie Manning gained a first and second place and two regional qualifying times. Ryan Rout-Lester, appearing in his first county championships, came home with one first, one second and a third place Emily Pilbeam, also in her first championships, gained four second places.
