SIXTY five of Cambridgeshire's finest table tennis hot shots battled it out March at the County Closed Championships on Saturday.
Wayne Mason, from Wisbech, was Fenland's star, winning the Restricted Singles title and Martin Gray, from Cambridge, dominated the senior events, completing a clean sweep of men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles titles.
Nearly 250 games were played on the day and the Cambridgeshire Table Tennis Association would like to thank the members of the March Table Tennis League that helped with the organisation, Carol Livermore for the catering, Florida Trophies, Speedy Bat Sports and all the players and umpires that took part in the event.
