WISBECH Rugby Club’s youth sides enjoyed a successful tour to the Kingswood Activity Centre near Cromer at the weekend.

The youngsters took part in a series of team building activites including biking, karting and laser quest before competing in the Holt Rugby Festival on Sunday.

Player of the week Cameron Finlay led the way for Wisbech Under-10s, who recorded a victory over Tring and a draw with Oakham but fell to defeat against a powerful Wymondham team.

Ben Wilcox, Nathan McKenzie, Sam Howat, Luke Fox, Jack Fowler and Alex Jackson all scored tries for Wisbech Under-8s as they put in a brave performance with three narrow defeats.

The under-7s put in a stunning performance to pick up the Kingswood Festival Under-7s Plate Winners Shield for finishing in third place. Oliver Murdoch, Joshua Bell, Jonathan Harding, Oliver Mann, Jenson Nunn and Billy Nurse scored tries.
