WISBECH Rugby Club will host Greene King IPA Division Two leaders Thetford in the third round of the Junior Vase.

The Harecroft Road outfit were handed a second home tie after their 37-10 thrashing of Essex side Old Brentwoods on Saturday.

They will face Thetford on November 26 as they bid to take the next step towards the Vase final, set to be played at Twickenham next year.

Wisbech have won all seven of their Greene King IPA Division One matches and have lost just once all season, a 36-17 defeat to Saffron Walden in the Cambridgeshire County Cup.

Thetford, who play one league below Wisbech, have also started their season in style, winning four of their five games.
