WISBECH Rugby Club are looking to expand their sponsorship base to help push through plans for future growth.

The club are aiming to improve facilities for the senior and junior sections and are holding a sponsorship lunch on December 5.

First team coach Steve Drawbridge said: "We've had a great start to the season on the pitch and we're now looking to ensure the facilities are in place to help the club grow on this success. There are currently plans in place to expand the club house."

He added: "We've been promoted to the London Division Three North East and are currently third which is fantastic but we have to do a lot more travelling this season and it all costs money.

"We also sent two coaches full of junior players to Leicester Tigers recently and we need to ensure that the funds are in place to enable us to do things like this again.

"We'd love to hear from anyone who is able to give us some financial support. Even if they can't make the lunch then they can still get in touch with me any time. And even if there are people out there who want to pay 20 or 30 to become a social member of the club, it all helps."

Kick off is at 2.30pm.
