WISBECH Rugby Club's youth teams hosted Stamford and Swaffham on Sunday.
Under-8s A
The first match saw an excellent game of rugby against Stamford A, who were one of the best sides Wisbech have to played this season. The Wisbech lads pushed Stamford all the way and came away with an 8 - 8 draw. Try scorers were James Shelly (2), Luke Green, Freddie Austin (2), Cameron Finlay, Thomas Nunn and Finley Wilcox.
The second match saw the Wisbech youngsters dominate Swaffham A with a 7 - 3 win. Try scorers were Finlay Wilcox, Freddie Austin, James Shelly (2), Thomas Nunn (2) and Luke Green.

In the third game Wisbech A played Stamford B and again played some superb rugby winning 7 - 4, tries came from James Shelly (5), Finlay Wilcox, and Oliver Simpson.

The first match saw the Wisbech B side make a gallant effort against Stamford A only to lose 4 - 9. Wisbech try scorers were Jack Cook, Luke Fey (2) and Connor McKenzie.
Wisbech B's second match was against Swaffham A they played very well and were only narrowly beaten 6 - 7, try scorers were Harry Sidgwick (4), Connor McKenzie and Archie Lyall.
Player of the week was awarded to Connor McKenzie for excellent playing attitude.
Wisbech under 8 were at full strength and played both A and B teams.
