A WISBECH driver finished second in the 750 Motor Club’s Stock Hatch Championship at Silverstone on Sunday.
Nine drivers from the area qualified for the final and Robbie Boon took second place.
Maurice Hayden finished fifth, Terry Roughton eighth, Gareth Wright ninth, Bob Foreman 15th, Martin Boon 16th and Andrew Tibbs 18th, in a race that was red flagged after a first corner incident.
Joe McMillan, who started on pole, suffered gearbox problems and didn’t finish while Wayne Harris was excluded for apparently having the wrong seatbelts.
