WISBECH Town Cricket Club are holding a fun day to encourage junior players to join the club. It is open to boys and girls aged seven to 16 and people can sign on for the club on the day. Wisbech Cricket Club s youth development officer Dom Stannard said:
WISBECH Town Cricket Club are holding a fun day to encourage junior players to join the club.
It is open to boys and girls aged seven to 16 and people can sign on for the club on the day.
Wisbech Cricket Club's youth development officer Dom Stannard said: "It's an informal day and it gives youngsters and their parents to come and see what we're about.
"We did the same thing last year and signed up 50 players for our junior section, which is fantastic."
There will be cricket games, carnival games with prizes, a barbecue and various other events throughout the day.
The funday will be on April 4 from 2pm.
