WISBECH Town Hockey Club's men's first team claimed two 3-2 victories in their last two NE14 Premier A home games of the season.
Sam Blunt struck twice as they beat Bedford first on Sunday.
He bagged two goals in a minute to put Wisbech 2-1 up.
Brad Apted had a penalty saved but made amends by scoring a late winner following a Bedford equaliser, lifting the ball into the top corner from an acute angle.
The previous day, goals from Dan Martell, Luke Smith and Sam Markille saw Wisbech beat Bishop's Stortford.
At the end of a tense match, Wisbech sent all 10 remaining players up for a short corner and Markillie deflected Jon Shippey's goal-bound shot into the net.
Wisbech will finish fifth if they win their last game of the season, at St Albans tomorrow.
