A BOXER from Wisbech is preparing to take to the ring in front of thousands of online viewers when he fights live on a newly-formed internet television channel.

Brad Newman will take on Scotland’s Marc Kerr at the Fists of Fury boxing event, which will be screened live on Fight Night Live TV on May 14.

The bout, which will be contested at Southsea, Portsmouth, will be decided by three two-minute rounds.

The internet channel is expecting 500,000 worldwide viewers to tune into the special event, which will feature an eight-man prizefighter tournament, two British title fights, four area title fights and four supporting bouts.
