AN outstanding performance from all-rounder Ben Allsop helped Wisbech Town first team move back up to second in the Tucker Division One.

Allsop took 2-21 before staying at the crease for the entire Wisbech innings and scoring 59 not out to help his side to a seven-wicket win over lowly Khalsa.

James Williams (3-38), Gary Freear (2-21), Craig Johnson (2-22) and Brad Apted (1-19) and Allsop took the Khalsa wickets as they were all out for 144.

Allsop's superb batting performance helped Wisbech cruise to 145-3 in 23 overs.

Gary Freear weighed in with 40 and Williams scored 20 not out.

Carl Pope and Ivan Burgess were Wisbech second team's star performers, scoring 46 and 41 respectively, in a 60-run Hunts Division Two defeat to Ramsey.

Ramsey scored 224 all out and the wickets were well spread among the Wisbech bowlers.

Paul Strickle and Charles Baxter finished with the best figures, both taking 2-26.

Tom Coates scored 26 but fellow Wisbech opener Dom Stannard went for a duck.

No. 3 Pope took control and No. 6 Burgess gave Wisbech a chance but they were all out for 164.

A four-wicket haul from Kieran Haynes wasn't enough to prevent Wisbech third team suffer a 15-run West Norfolk Division Three defeat to Swaffham seconds.

Haynes took 4-55 and Bob Burgess weighed in with 2-30 as Swaffham were all out for 226.

There were some decent batting performances from Keith Jakings (49), Matt pack (47 not out) and Richard Harnwell (33) but Wisbech narrowly missed their target and were all out for 211.

A stunning 5-18 from David Lemoir contributed to Wisbech fourth team's 56-run West Norfolk Division Four win over Necton.

Wisbech opened with 147 all out.

Danny Haynes top-scored with 32 and Martin Parrin (26) and Nick Drew (28 not out) also made telling contributions.

Wisbech made light work of the Necton response with Parrin (2-12), Jonathan Strickle (2-21) and Haynes (1-20) adding to Lemoir's efforts in dismissing Necton for 91.
