SOME outstanding bowling from James Williams who took 6-32 helped Wisbech first team to a victory that keeps them hot on the heels of Tucker Division One leaders Nassington.

Wisbech beat Camden away by 25 runs in a low-scoring game on Saturday.

David Wood was the visitors' highest scorer with 32 runs, followed by opener Ben Allsop, who struck 17 as they reached 107 all out.

But six Camden batsmen were dismissed for ducks in a reply of 82 all out.

Williams was well assisted by Craig Johnson (3-13) and Allsop (1-24).

Wisbech remain in second position, two points behind the leaders and seven points clear of third-placed Ramsey.

Daniel Mason's 53 and a 4-37 from Charles Baxter helped Wisbech seconds to a five-run Hunts Division Two win over Ramsey seconds.

Dom Stannard chipped in with 45 in the middle order and some solid scores from Adam Hodgson (27) and Ivan Burgess (23) helped Wisbech open with 202-9.

Baxter was well assisted by Ryan Van Waterschoot (3-41) and Burgess, Hodgson and Paul Strickle all took a wicket each to ensure Ramsey narrowly missed their target and were all out for 197.

Bowlers Lyndon Waters (4-29) and Adrian Peck (3-5) stole the show as Wisbech thirds picked up a 28-run West Norfolk Division Three win over Beetley firsts.

Wisbech batted first and scored 167-9.

Gary Alexander top-scored with 41 and there were decent contributions from Adrian Peck (27), Sam Darlow (26 not out) and James Sheppard (20).

Waters and Peck ensured Beetley's response was restricted to 139 all out.

Bowler David LeMoir was Wisbech fourth team's star man, taking 4-31 in a five-wicket West Norfolk Division Four victory over Beeston firsts - completing a perfect weekend for the club.

Batting first, Beeston were all out for 111 all out.

Nick Drew took three wickets at a loss of just five runs and Nick Pack took 2-6.

Openers Ken Smart and Adam Thomas led the Wisbech response, scoring 44 not out and 27 respectively as they finished on 112-5.
