FLYING winger Ollie Gale continued his impressive pre-season form as Wisbech Town enjoyed a 1-0 friendly victory over Pinchbeck United on Saturday.

Fresh from scoring a hat-trick in Wisbech’s 9-0 win over Swineshead Institute on Thursday, Gale was again on target as the Fenmen cruised to victory against the Peterborough Premier League side.

Gale’s strike was enough to settle the game, which saw former Wisbech bad boy Tom Gosling return to the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium.

Gosling - who was banned from playing football for three years after racially abusing an opponent while playing for the Fenmen in 2007 - was handed a footballing lifeline by Pinchbeck last month.
