TALENTED midfielder Callum Reed is set to complete a dramatic U-turn by returning to Wisbech Town just months after joining fierce rivals King’s Lynn Town.
Reed, 20, has parted company with Lynn just days before they begin their United Counties League campaign against Irchester leaving joint-Linnets boss Gary Setchell stunned.
The highly-rated midfielder, who has attracted interest from a host of non-league clubs including Cambridge United, is expected to re-sign for Wisbech tonight in what is set to be another massive boost for Steve Appleby’s promotion-chasing outfit.
Reed scored the winner in the Fenmen’s Ridgeons League Challenge Cup triumph in May and was seen by many as the club’s star performer for large parts of last season.
