PLAYERS at Tydd St Mary Football Club show off the biggest honour they have secured this season - but it’s not silverware.
The club has been awarded the FA Charter Standard - recognising their improvement in coaching, administration, player development and child protection.
Secretary Carl Wilson said: “I have always been very proud of the standards that we set as a club and achieving this award confirms that we really do offer the best possible environment for our players to develop and achieve.”
Manager Mark Greenacre said: “It will be an exciting summer for the club and this news is the perfect start.”
Tydd’s adult training begins on July 3, from 7pm at Memorial Park. Interested players should contact Mr Wilson on 07909 526563 or visit www.tyddstmaryfc.co.uk for more information.
