MORE than �1,300 was raised by Tydd St Giles Golf Club Ladies Section at their Gamebird Open . A total of 124 players from 25 clubs took part in the Four Ball Better Ball Competition. Winners were Carole Harrison (Dereham) and Carol Crowson (Hunstanton)

MORE than �1,300 was raised by Tydd St Giles Golf Club Ladies Section at their "Gamebird Open".

A total of 124 players from 25 clubs took part in the Four Ball Better Ball Competition.

Winners were Carole Harrison (Dereham) and Carol Crowson (Hunstanton) who scored 42 points.

There was also a hidden holes competition, nearest a line award and three nearest the pin awards.

The money was donated to the East Anglian Children's Hospice, the ladies section's 2009 chosen charity.
