TYDD ST Giles Golf Club’s A Team have been celebrating after winning the South Lincolnshire Scratch League Division Three title.
A 3-3 draw against Thorney Lakes Golf Club secured their promotion to division two by just one point.
Captain Ken Doughty said: “The commitment from all the players has been great and we look forward to the new challenge next season.”
Results: Link Gostic and Andy Betts (lost 1 down), Jamie Stott and Malcolm Stead (lost 5&3), Tom Brooks and Tim Hines (lost 7&5), Leigh Chapman and Luke Rowell (won 2&1), Paul Chaplain-Barton and Rod Drew (won 4&3) and Kevin Goude and Josh Chaplain-Barton (won 4&3).
