THE president of the Cambridgeshire Amateur Swimming Association Cliff Smith was guest of honour at Wisbech Swimming Club's annual club championship presentation evening.
He presented trophies to swimmers who competed in the club championships throughout November.
Throughout the evening, at Mendis, a number of swimmers were also presented with special awards for dedication to training.
Tom Kelly and Sarah Knight won the 13/under trophies for attaining the highest overall points at the Cambridgeshire County Championships.
Elizabeth Jeffries was awarded Most Promising 13/over Swimmer and Hetty Beckett for 13/Under.
Grace Cherry was named Most Committed in Training and Rory Willis was rewarded for winning the most points during the Junior Fenland League.
Anne Smith received The Volunteers Award in recognition of her long standing involvement and commitment to the club.
Meanwhile, Hetty Beckett gained a first and third at the Peterborough Mini Meet on Saturday.
She was one of seven Wisbech swimmers to compete in the event and they set 11 personal bests between them.
