TEENAGE golfer Jordan Hart has played for Lincolnshire.

The 13-year-old Tydd St Giles Golf Club member, who plays off a 13 handicap, halved his game an eight-handicap player when he played for the county's under-16s team against Leicestershire at Luffenham Heath golf course last month.

Hart has been playing golf for just two years and has previously played for Lincolnshire under-14s at Market Rasin, Nottinghamshire, losing narrowly to a player with a much lower handicap.

Hart hopes to go on to become a professional golfer.

n Tydd St Giles Golf Club convincingly won the first round of the South Lincolnshire Junior Golf league team.

They beat Gedney Hill, Spalding, and Thorney Lakes in the first stage of the four-match contest.
