Tang Soo Do club enjoys success at junior and senior national championships

FENLAND Tang Soo Do Club enjoyed several successes at the World Tang Soo Do Association junior and senior nationals, held on Saturday.

Notable wins were gained at the tournament, in Birmingham, by Paul Schofield (1st free fighting, 2nd forms), Liz Watson (2nd free fighting), Trevor Dewey (1st free fighting, 2nd forms), Nick Watson (2nd weapons, 3rd forms), Luke Dewey (2nd forms) and Alex Watson (1st free fighting, 2nd forms).

Club instructor Jack Schofield said: "Daniel Dewey and Zac Hardy were unsuccessful this time but gained valuable experience and enjoyed the day."

Fenland Tang Soo Do club trains Mondays at Wisbech St Mary Primary School and Thursdays at Leverington Primary School. Both sessions run from 6.30-8pm.
