A DOMINANT performance from Wisbech saw them return with all the points from Bury after a stylish display.

Sam Blunt and Dan Martell led the home defence a merry dance before Brad Apted scored the opener from a scramble following a short corner.

Jon Shippey extended the lead with a powerful strike from a short corner before another corner led to Drew Harvey following up Apted's effort.

In control, Wisbech added only one goal in the second period, when Sam Markille turned in from close range.

DESPITE the best efforts of Ryan Blunt, Wisbech could not find a breakthrough at St Ives.

The hosts led 1-0 at the interval and extended that lead after the break with Jon Boyall and Robin Johnson failing to beat the St Ives goalkeeper.

PLAYER of the match Nat Ward made some vital tackles but a late goal for the visitors snatched the points.

A WELL-TAKEN strike from Sue Slator put Wisbech on their way to victory against Luton.

Wisbech dominated and went on to score twice more, once from player of the match Claire Apted and another from Slator, via a penalty strike.

A TIGHT game was settled by two first half goals from the visitors and a fine save from Wisbech goalkeeper Kevin Shippey.

Tim Ward and Tom Peggs were the goalscorers for the visitors and despite Ely scoring a goal in the second half, the comeback did not happen.

AT TIMES during this mauling Wisbech looked unstoppable as they continued their excellent form.

Mark Jones drifted in at the back post to give his side an early lead before Adam Fairbrother turned in a short corner and Alex Jones rounded off a fine team move.

Jones added his second after the break before man of the match Adam Thomas and Chris Clark made it 6-0.

Spalding salvaged some pride with two goals as Wisbech eased off but the comeback sparked the home side into life with Fairbrother and Atkins rounding off the win.
