WISBECH karate students made major strides towards achieving Black Belts on Sunday.

After an intense four-hour grading session, 23 students from the Samurai Black Belt Karate School, based at the Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech, successfully earned new grades between third Kyu to first Kyu in Brown belt.

Students who achieved first Kyu, are: Jodie Dent on, Sam Smyth, Lewis Bywater and Lillie Powell.

Second Kyu was achieved by: Andrea Bywater, Patrick Roberts, James Liquorice, Molly Ann Sutton, Keshena Lyddiatt, Kai Lyddiatt, Eddie Clayton, Cree Summer Howlett, Nerys Kirby, Nick Ormiston, Jim Secker and Richard Howard.

Third Kyu was achieved by: Edward Bellamy, Rebecca Bellamy, James De Leuce, Oliver Haddon, Rosie Sutton, Sarah Jane Knight and Cameron Pearce.
