Rosier palmed the ball up into the air, before spinning 180 degrees and diving for a dramatic catch.

Flower scored 3,457 runs in his Test career and 6,536 in one day internationals but he could muster just 11 runs at Harecroft Road on Saturday.

He opened for Burwell in the Tucker Gardner Division One and the match finished a draw.

Burwell scored 196-9 and Wisbech replied with 165-6.

Nassington's eight-wicket win over Godmanchester put them at the top of the table and Wisbech slipped to second.

No. 4 Fraser Crawford was Burwell's highest scorer with 78.

Williams finished on 3-45, Craig Johnson took 4-44 and Brad Apted and Gary Freear took a wicket each.

Gary Freear was Wisbech's chief run-maker with 63, followed by Damien Coad with 42.

Flower manage to claw back some pride when he took 3-28.

Paul Strickle's 202 not out helped Wisbech fourths obliterate Gooderstone by 271 runs in the West Norfolk Division Four.

Strickle and Ken Smart (86) put on 306 for the first wicket and Wisbech finished on 326-1.

Bowler David LeMoir had too much class for the Gooderstone batsmen, taking a phenomenal six wickets for just seven runs.

Gooderstone were all out for 55 in just 23.4 overs.

Leverington remain deep in relegation trouble in the West Norfolk Division One after a 62-run defeat to Snettisham.

Snettisham made 199-7 with Orlando Prestidge (3-50) the pick of the Leverington bowlers.

He was well supported by Aaron Cobb (2-43) and Ian Cooper (1-46).

Leverington were never really in the hunt despite 37 from Cooper and 22 from Andy Reid they were bowled out for 137.

Leverington travel to fellow strugglers Northwold on Saturday.

Rosier's 114 wasn't enough to save Wisbech's first Sunday side from a 22-run Rutland Division One defeat to Buckminster.

Matthew Parrin jnr was Wisbech's sole wicket-taker with 5-84 as Buckminster reached 242-5.

Wisbech replied with 220 all out with Ivan Burgess weighing in with 32 runs.

Bowlers Carl Pope (3-10), Tommy Williams (3-20) and John Mallett (2-9) helped Wisbech's second Sunday team cruise to a nine-wicket Rutland Division Seven win over Whittlesey seconds.

Whittlesey opened with 75 all out and Adrian Clare (25 not out), Gary Alexander (32) and Grant Clark (13) saw Wisbech to 76-1.

Half-centuries came from M Bourne (62) and Robbie Harris (52) for Wisbech's third Sunday side, but they still went down by seven wickets to Doddington in the Fenland Trophy.

Wisbech opened with 177 all out as Doddington's Barrie Carter took a hat-trick of wickets in his 4-38.

Robert Moden (97 not out) and Daniel Beavis were Doddington's key men as they responded with 180-3.
